Mastering typography can be tough, but all it takes is some practice and experimentation. Type is used everywhere - we see it on signs, the internet, print, tv and pretty much anything that requires reading. My goal is to take control of type. It's easy to get lost with an endless amount of font choices. But, where does one begin?
For starters, browse websites like designspiration.net. Or read Thinking with Type. I find that the best way to learn is looking at the work of others.
After watching some videos from The Futur (I highly recommend this YouTube channel for any designer), I was inspired to level up my type game. I'll start by designing posters - 100 of them. I'm a firm believer of learn by doing.
Here we go!
